Re: Thieves in the Night!

I had a cougar chasing my chickens when I lived on land in rural Vancouver Island. He won't ever do that again. Nice skin.

Re: Thieves in the Night!

Bears in my brother's back yard tore down his bird feeder.
Cheetas in Namibia saved from local farmer's guns.
I watched a Mom Raccoon re-locate her brood down a dock in Miami's Matheson Hammoc marina into some poor schmuck's fly-bridge with his radios under the bulkhead.

Re: Thieves in the Night!

I was fishing from an embankment six feet above the North Thompson river in the British Columbia interior a few years ago, when a large bear appeared on the trail. Just as I yelled and waved my arms to scare it off, I realized, to late, there were two small cubs with her... had a most refreshing swim...

I heard a noise on the dock one night, I got out of the boat in time to see a fox walking away. We've trapped & relocated some coons when they've started being a problem. The fellow who trains coon dogs seemed to appreciate them;-)
