Re: What do you do while your Boat is in the Care of Professionals?

Left my boat with a boat yard for a needed new transmission bottom job and a couple new through hulls. I flew home, got on with my life and gave them a call every once in a while to see how things were going.

Came back, fixed some smaller issues myself, and then went cruising for a few months.

At the other end, I have no idea what it's like for a professional to work on my boat. I is it.

Come by once in a while to check on progress. On the occasion there's someone working on the boat, I'll talk to the worker, usually complimenting (deservedly) on their work.
