What Firearms Do you Keep on Board?

We usually have girls on board on deck in bikinis (will this thread get deleted for saying "bikini", our pictures do) and often find ourselves anchored in some very isolated coves.

Though we find the easy boating locations bring bad people, the tougher to get to coves usually bring good people, some not-so-innocent thugs and drug runners do make their way into the isolated, distant edge-of-wilderness coves too. We are prepared.

In the LA / Channel Islands area it's the Uncle with the ramshackle COSTCO Bayliner who brings his hoodlum nephew and his gang friends on a fishing trip. We had a scary incident involving just such last year. We saw it coming and were prepared. Our Canadian friends stopped asking "what are you afraid of to carry such weapons" after that eye opening incident,,,, but that's another thread for the crazy redneck gun forums.

Re: What Firearms Do you Keep on Board?

A sailor in St maarten was boarded by the local Coast Guard (don't know whyi it is unusual) and was found to have an "illegal" gun and a few rounds of ammunition on board. The gun was confiscated and he was taken to jail.
