Re: What Should You NOT Do on a Boat ?

"When visiting ashore, do not tell people in other countries that their currency is almost like real money"

Guilty... The waitress guilted me into a bigger tip. "If its not real, give me a little extra" she said. She was cute - it worked.

Never fart in the cabin of a small yacht in winter. Even when you're the only ocupant.

I know that everything I read on hear is true. The salmon pink trouser brigade would never make anything up, would they?

I don't have friends on here because people usually read our blog first and decide against it for health reasons.

Re: What Should You NOT Do on a Boat ?

Never call the coast guard until the water in the cabin is waist deep.

CHoppy water, Rainy weather, and a dead motor doesn't count because it's a SAIL BOAT !!!

I guess that depends on where your batteries are...waist deep in my boat means my batteries are under water.

What is it about pink trousers and sailors world wide that make them wear pink trousers. All you amerians should sail 20 miles out and throw them off the edge of the world.

Re: What Should You NOT Do on a Boat ?

At one time it was thought bad luck to have a woman on a boat. Then it was believed that if a woman beared her breasts to the sea it would calm it hence the bear breasted figure heads on old boats.
I have tried telling various female guests this, especially when the wind gets up but so far it hasn't worked.

we can not do this, people will see them floating and call the coasties to start searching for the people who were washed over board

everyone is just going to have to put up with them for the greater good!
