The average temp in Dec 2015 was 5.96° f above the long term average which was .92 °f higher than December 1939
So not really a recent major spike above the early days of the industrial revolutionary

Where those numbers pre or post adjustment to make them line up more with the MMGW Cultist argument?

I would assume that t temperatures shown after about 1980 I would assume that they are the ones that were adjusted . That seems to be where most of the MMGW people seem to start looking at.

a proper discussion would include reviewing arguments and positions.
what's beeing done here is virtue signalling, which basicly means both sides of the fence demonstrate how consolidated theyt are in their position.
nothing's gonna come out of this except some entertainment, which btw is good enough for me

The only argument that doesn't get reviewed is the cold hard fact co2 levels are increasing to the tune of 2.3 ppm per year. Most everything else, on the other hand, is and has been subjected to rigorous discussion and debate within the abilities of our demographic. Admittedly, we all approach this intercourse from a position that represents the side of the fence we sit upon, which kind of explains the phenomena you observe.

And +1 on entertainment. This thread has been positively boring today. We are in dire need of some new controversial cc claims or conspiracies to promote more back and forth banter!

This year in Maine we just had the mildest December that I can remember, and far from being considered an "impact," it was wonderful(!), so I'm hoping it's a long term climate change trend and not just a temporary aberration. But, since last winter was about the coldest and snowiest December I can remember, I'm trying to not get my hopes up too much quite yet.

Re: Why Climate Change Won't Matter in 20 Years

I'm hoping for an increase in global warming. Maybe I should adopt some of the practices most of the GW zealots I know do, such as warm up my car for 20 minutes, keep the house at a more comfortable 75 degrees and drive an SUV.

I'll be a challenge since I'm now heading up to the roof top to sweep in he snow off the solar panels. Oh did I mention... Not a single one of the GW zealots I know have any solar panels except for Mike.
