Winter has arrived on the Chesapeake Bay

We are expecting temps in the low 20's tomorrow night.

I hope everyone on the bay is prepared.

I dumped all water tanks and water bottles today even though they would have probably been okay for this first 10 hours or so of low 20's temperatures.

Also removed my dodger.....

Re: Winter has arrived on the Chesapeake Bay

At 8:00AM, it’s -8°F (-22°C) in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Feels like -21°F (wind chill).
Merry Christmas.

Winter has arrived on the Chesapeake Bay

Long Beach, CA high today 70 F low 48 F. Having learned to sail on the Chesapeake Bay too many years ago and having moved to Connecticut, Minnesota, Arizona, Florida and finally Southern California I have learned never to complain about the weather here. My sympathies to all those frozen in the north.

And Merry Christmas, white or whatever color, to all.
