5 yr Plan

Well, we're finally at the end of our five year plan (actually we cut it back to a 4 1/2 yr plan - patience is a virtue we don't have ). We currently live in NH. And yes, it is too damn cold here. My wife is an RN that has worked in the ER and has been looking for medical books and information that is specifically for sailing cruisers. Also looking for a comprehensive list of medical supplies that are recommended for the cruising medical professional. My doctor is willing the work with me to provide the scripts for what we need but is depending upon me to develop the list of "needs and wants". Any advise? Hope to see some of you on our travels. The Caribbean will be our first "stomping ground".

VI_bound,
Practical Sailor just finished up a 4 part series on this. I believe all of your questiones were addressed there.

Back Issues

Now all I have to do is find the back issues or get copies of those issues. Would they happen to be on line?
Thanks

I believe that at least 3 of the 4 installments are online; not sure if the 4th regarding long passage offshore is there yet. All were in 2008. Unfortunately, while I have those issues at home, I am not there to help with actuall issues. If something has not popped up here when I get there, I will post the issue information.

Aloha VI,
Welcome aboard! It appears you are getting some good answers. Good luck on your 4 1/2 year plan.
Kind regards,

Congrats on the plan coming to fruition; you must be feeling great about it! Here's too books I'd recommend; they have medical supplies listed in the back.

Amazon.com: advanced first aid afloat

Amazon.com: Emergency Medical Guide: John Henderson~Neil Hardy~Betty Jane Eager: Books
