Hi! I'm a relatively new OS deckhand to the trade, and have come here looking for either volunteer opportunities to accrue sea time, or a stipend deckhand position, any time after 7/18/2011 through the upcoming winter season. I'm hoping to find a ship destined for tropical waters. Not only would it be a great experience/sea time, but I'd really like to take a few semesters off school and visit the Caribbean this winter!

I'm working on several tall ships / schooners in and around Massachusetts currently. Hopefully I can find experience somewhere!
