Ahoy Everyone!

Hi all,

Brand new to this Forum... been looking around and am so thankful to have found you!

Accomplished the dream of purchasing a sail boat - last year was our first season. I have no (ahem, except last year of course) experience, while my fiance and Skipper has some. I've been devouring books and online information. We're on a 1974 O'Day '27 who is currently getting a LOT of TLC over the winter. Our plan is to gain experience with her and then move on to a "liveaboardable". We are big do-it-yourselfers and only hire out what we can't learn to do ourselves.

He's a carpenter turned computer geek and I'm a registered nurse. We round out our family with Archemedies, our Congo African Grey who we hope to get accustomed to sailing!

We look forward to being a part of this wonderful community!

Hi Sarah + Chad
This forum can be addictive. I sail on Long Island Sound, and hope to sail up your way soon.

Welcome
Paul
