Ahoy from Pleasant Harbor

We are new the forum but thought that this was a great opportunity to gather information! We have been boating for 14 years - 4 in sailboats and 10 in a 37' trawler. This summer is the BIG TRIP post-retirement - headed into uncharted (for us) waters of the Broughton archipelago in British Columbia. Looking for any and all useful info to make the trip a success. One last thing...I have not found the right forum for finding information about boat covers - sunbrella I know but what's the mesh folks are using to filter sun? Everyone has it but no one can give a place to get it or the name!

Re: Ahoy from Pleasant Harbor

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you here.
I know of a local company (here in Hawaii) that carries all types of mesh fabrics for greenhouses. That's where I would go to get mine if I were ready to do it. All types of percentage of light filtering and long lasting mesh fabrics.
So, I would pursue an Ag business to check for it.
kind regards,
