Another converted stinkboater!

New to the site and only marginally familliar with sailing - when I found out the most economical hull design was a catamaran I could no longer escape the logic, practicality, and romance of a sail. I still have my 34' weekender but I am obsessed with the possibility of a big cruising cat and island hopping in the near future. My two week bareboat on a 48' monohull in the BVI 15 years ago has haunted me - there might be something better I could be doing in early retirement but right now i just can't think of it! Hello to everyone and looking forward to becoming more literate!

Aloha,
Welcome aboard! Good to have you here. I do a lot of daydreaming about cruising. Lived aboard and did some cruising in the early 80s. Live was never better. Its good now but certainly more fun then.
I'm looking forward to getting into cruising part time again and getting my monster boat back into the water.
Kind Regards,
JohnL
