Welcome Tom! Are you planning to get out on the Columbia or farther afield?

Yes we do, right now taking sailing lessons on the Columbia.
Don't own a sailboat, we own a 23' fishing boat that we take out over the Columbia river bar and other places to hunt, fish and crab. We also own a 19' Mastercraft ski boat that stays on lakes and smooth rivers only. A sailboat is in the plans down the road.

Re: Another Newbie Here.

Tom,
Did you ever get your sailboat? I am neighbor it seems... about 20 miles up the coast, with my sailboat down in Newport. Perhaps we will see each other out there!

Re: Another Newbie Here.

No we haven't, still looking. Went to Annapolis to look around last year. What a show that was until Saturday when a high tide flooded the docks.
