bamboo schooner

Thanks for the compliment, this material as awesome to work with. Remember this build is using traditional building systems ie. planks, but modern materials, epoxy instead of nails and caulking. Glass/epoxy sheathing to create the ultimate strong maintenance free boat.

Beautifull! You are the only person I can think of who can say their boat is made of grass. What made you choose bamboo? Where are you building? Who is your supplier for bamboo planks?

Aloha and welcome aboard!
That's a beautiful job. I'd like to know if any warping occurs with the bamboo.
kind regards,

Very nice. I know you investigated it thoroughly but will the bamboo soak up water or shed it? All the coatings in the world won't last forever, what are you using above deck? Might be silly questions but I would like to know.
