Bit the Bullet

Well, I did it. I joined C. F. ! I bought a boat 2 years ago and have worked on it, what seems like, every day since. So many times in the process I have had to search the Internet for answers to obscure questions (What temp should my Perkins 4.107 be running at?) and more often than not, the answer has come from a generous individual on C. F. (180 by the way, thank you)

So I decided to be a part of the solution, not just a problem anymore.

Thank you all for your wisdom and willingness to share it. I hope to be part of your tribe for many years to come.

Re: Bit the Bullet

I never thought of becoming part of the CF community would require one to "bite the bullet" (accepting the inevitable impending hardship and enduring the resulting pain with fortitude.)

Welcome aboard. It's what you get when you buy a boat You must have the right idea or it wouldn't be that easy. Don't feel bad it really won't get better. It just comes down to liking being on the boat and having a mind to just get out there and go sailing when the work is too much. Lots of help here on those technical details.
