carribean cat

I'm a dutch guy at the point of buying a sailingcat in the carribean. My intentions are to sail it back to europe.I can use every information about the best route to take, important things to take along, mayby there are more people with these plans and we can go in convoy.I'm not a very experienced sailer but a quick learner.
Greetings
Robbert

Hi Robbert,

Another Dutchman here. I would advice to hire somebody experienced with this to give you a hand on the trip. There are some forum members here who are good and do this all the time.

You must hurry up for this: hurricane season is coming!

I would suggest a direct run to the Azores from SXM... around 2100 miles and once past the Gulf Stream its a fairly easy sail..
Should be starting to get the winds a bit S of E by now...
