Depth Gauge Problems

I have had this boat a short while. I was trying to learn what the depth gauge could do so, I was pushing buttons to learn how to use it. At one point after I think I pushed the alarm reset and the the gauge quit showing the bottom. I can not find any name plate or directions on how to operate the gauge. abd I cannot get the gauge to show depth anymore. The temperature, speed and the log still works but no luck on the bottom depth. Has anyone had or, know how this depth gauge is controlled? I contacted West Marine and they were not much help. I took a picture that I have attached to see if someone knows anything about this gauge.

Re: Depth Gauge Problems

My first "guess" would be, "Did you press both buttons simoutaneously that indicate reset"?

Re: Depth Gauge Problems

West marine has a lot of stuff private labeled and then it goes away. Are we to assume there is no manual on the boat for the unit? Pull it out and look on the back to see if there is any labels. Chuck

Re: Depth Gauge Problems

Now that I look at it, it almost looks like an older Standard Horizon or Navman unit. Chuck

Thank you everyone for your responses. I looked at the owners manual and that was what I needed.

Re: Depth Gauge Problems

Good find Gord, as I thought it is a Navman private labeled. Here is the original manual,
