Eager to Start our Special Cruising Life

We are a special needs family (our adult son is disabled) and we are starting a cruising life soon. We are currently searching for the right catamaran for our needs as well as planning everything else. It's a lot more challenging for us than most people but we're getting there. We're looking forward to sharing our journey and how we will be adapting our boat as well as our adaptive adventure. God is leading us to a life on the water and we hope to meet a lot of good people out there. Give us a thumbs up or a good word to encourage us.

What a fantastic example to set! Welcome aboard. I am curious on how you will adapt the vessel and habits to make this possible, such as boarding the vessel, or dinghy to shore, etc.

Thanks for your words of encouragement and warm welcome!
They say that necessity is the mother of invention and we have some inventing to do. I have been working out all the logistics as well as putting my ingenuity to work.

Yes, getting onboard and dinghy are a couple of the biggies but I have a plan. All I need is the boat to work out the rest of the engineering. I also have a plan for a dinghy and am in the process of creating a scale model for testing and feasibility. If it does well in scale I will start work on a full size version. Maybe it will become the next hot item, lol.
