I'm sailing an Iain Oughtred Grey Seal "Huon Seal" out of Portland Vic.Aust .
Its a beautiful little boat , and pretty capable in the waters around here.
But I'm suffering from rheumatoid arthritis , and at times I find it impossible to sail her.
I could change the rig , put on winches etc , but that would spoil her character and charm.
I'll probably sell her , and buy something more appropriate to me , in this condition.
So , I'm trying to figure the easiest way to sail , with a reliable rig.
I'm using self furling headsails now , and will in the future , but need to find the most reliable system.
And so to mainsail furling and reefing , what is the easiest , most reliable system ?.
Any recommendations ?.

Its good to have you posting here. I've heard good things about ProFurl but don't have much experience with furling sails except on other peoples boats (OBPs).

I have furling headsails on HS , but I have little experience of furling mainsails.
The one I am thinking of is a fully battened mainsail , I've included a (older) picture .
