Girl New to Sailing in Newport

Hey!

I'm a professor in the winter and a beach bum in the summer. I'm new to sailing but have been loving racing and cruising all summer. I'm also new to Newport and would love more opportunities to hone my sailing skills. Loved Block Island Race Week. Am always up for a last minute adventure and for making new friends on the water!

And Chickadilla rhymes with quesadilla.

Welcome to CF!

Lots of boats there, should be easy enough to find a place on one. Good Luck!

Welcome Chickadilla. You do make an entrance. In what field do you Profess? We like quesadillas down in La Paz. Stop by and say hello if you drift this way. Rhode Island tho' smacks of polish and varnish and stemware and white deck shoes, until after Labor Day, of course.

Unicorn Dreams. Another Texas sailor here. Do you know of anyone in Newport RI who would be interested in taking my girlfriend and I out for a daysail? I posted a thread under crew available and were happy to cover cost.

Cheers~
