Greetings from Gulf Shores, Al.
Alabama home of the most beautiful and whitest sand beachs on this planet.
Alabama home of the #1 Auburn Tigers,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, War Eagle!
Alabama home of last years #1 Alabama Crimson Tide,,,We do FOOTBALL! and we do it better than anybody................
I love this forum and the info gleaned from these pages ..since we are located on the Great Loop boats and boating are big in Gulf Shores

Beaches are still White

Bp cleaned up the oil,,,,it is only a distant memory ,,we are in good shape here ,,,come on down,,
Some of the locals here got rich using their boats at $1800.00 a day,,,,lots better than fishing for a living,,LOL,,By the way fishing is better than ever..

good to hear that,us brits were getting a bit of bad press over the multinational with british in it,maybe over your way in the next few years,was in hawaii last year,and american samoa and micronesia a few years back so seen most of the colonies,just got to get to the mainland.

You've already seen more than I'll ever see,,from the the places you mention,, I could only dream of seeing half of that ,,,but until you've seen the beaches here along the northern Gulf Of Mexico you have not seen white sand like it is here ,,,plus we are "Southerners" with famous southern hospitality ...Hope you get to our mainland soon ,,,,,,you will love it

Aloha and welcome aboard!
It's great to have you here. I was stationed near Pensacola in the late '60s and never forgot the beauty of the white sand beaches. Like white sugar. Where I was if I went north I was in Alabama and if I went west I was in Alabama and if I went south I was in the Gulf so I just considered myself a faux Alabama resident.

Aloha Skiprjohn,,Hawaii wow ,,my sister lived there many years ago when her husband was station at koneoee (spelling)..everyone dreams of going to Hawaii,,you are so lucky to live there..
