Greetings From Brentwood Essex UK
My name is Peter Thornton and I am buying my first sailboat. I charter a couple of 38 foot boats every year in the Med with a dozen guys and have my competent crew. Going for my Day Skipper's in March. Want my own boat to putter around the Solent in. Love the forum.

Welcome. A dozen guys in a 38 footer must be eight too many most days.

well, yes, but it is two 38 footers between 10-12 guys each year.
