Greetings from Croatia !

Hello everyone!

My name is Mato, I'm 31, live in Croatia and am relatively new to sailing. I'm specially interested in dinghy cruising, and sail boat design matters... hence my arrival here. Otherwise I teach film and video editing. This season parental and work obligations have taken over sailing, but I hope to balance things better in future.

The boat (blue one, third in a row, a Wayfarer World) and gear that goes in it:

One of the moments that justify all the hassle:

Cheers!

If you can get all that gear in your wayfarer, you are not a sailor

You are a magician

Thank you all!

Yes, I still need to optimise the amount of gear. At the beggining I've been under the influence of books, some of which suggested that one should carry extra anchors, a binocular, an extensive toolkit with spare bits of plywood, extensive medical kit, all sorts of things that I later found out to be out of place in such a small boat. What you can't see among those bags are six fenders that I've been dragging around. A friend from UK couldn't stop teasing me about this, but I'm so fussy about keeping the boat unscratched that it's been hard to change the habit.

Best wishes, and happy sailing!
