Greetings from Eastern PA

Hi all, my name is Avery and I hail from Eastern Pennsylvania (at least for now). I don't currently own a boat (well, an 11 ft homebuilt one, but that's it) but I am looking to buy. My sailing experience is a bit limited but I've been wanting to live on a boat since I figured out it was possible, somewhere around age 6. Well, I'm finally at the point in life where I can do that and my best friend and I are currently in the market for a mid-sized cruising sailboat.

This looks like a great forum, and I look forward to learning a lot from all of you.
