Hello all,

I'm new member here and finally decided to register on this excellent forum. I've visited occasionally here following discussions as an "outsider" when searching sailing/boating related information from internet.
I live in Helsinki which is located in southern coast of Finland. Our sailing season is limited because of cold winter so it's nice to read sailing/boating related stories of this forum during the winter time

I'm waiting for summer to get sailing with my old wooden sailingboat (Havsorn I / Sea Eagle I) made in Sweden ,designed by Olle Enderlein.

Here is another member from Finland who found this forum just lately.

Even I'm more likely on weekend motorboating and occasional sailboat chartering, I have found this forum useful and interesting.

Btw. any other members from Finland here?

Hi Jussu50!

I'm not Finnish, but my wife is and we visit our relatives there fairly often, in the Helsinki, Kotka, Anjala, and Lapeenranta areas. We're probably going back sometime this summer -- beautiful country and great people.
