Greetings from Singapore

Hi everyone,

I am new in this forum. I have only some experience in dingy sailing during my younger days. And recently i have been thinking of exploring into yachting, but i have no clue on how to start etc. Hope to learn more about the ins and outs of yacht sailing from you guys.

Cheers

Damien

Welcome to the forum!
Sounds like the yachting bug might be trying to bite you - don't fight it
Hope you find the info you are looking for.
Cheers,
Erika

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your warm welcome.

I have been checking out some of the boats for sale websites, i notice that there are not many/if not none of the boats for sale in my region.

I know it may sound silly, if i am to look for a second hand sailing boat, should i be looking for the boats that is parked at my country? or is there an alternative to this?

Thanks again for all your help.

Hi Erika,

I am in Singapore right now. I found out that there is a RYA training centre at one of the marina. I will probably go for the beginner course first, then see if i can get some contacts from there.

Let me know if you have any contacts i can get in touch with.

But seriously, i am just at the checking out stage.

Cheers
