Greetings from Tasmania

Hi,

We have a Bavaria 36 - "Sweet As" - moored at the Tamar Yacht Club marina, Beauty Point. We purchased her in Pittwater last october and have since enjoyed some superb cruising on the east coast of Tasmania.

I have recently joined the forum and have already gained considerable value just from browsing a number of the existing threads.

Hi John,

Tassie blow ins here, from NSW. We are at RYCT Sandy Bay. Working out the winter so we can head north after Feb, with cruising kitty full again.

Hi John,

I've met a couple of boats recently heading north who have come from Tamar Valley. One I met in Sydney a week ago called Fly with the captain by the name of Gordon... very hospitable.

Welcome
Pete

G'Day John, and welcome from another cruiser in the fleet.

Being of sound mind, Ann and I have headed North to Manly from the Pittwater and when we finish painting the decks here will go either to FNQ or New Cal for the rest of the winter. But we fully intend to be back in Tassie in time for the Wooden Boat thing, so we'll keep an eye out for Sweet As. Where do you keep her?

Cheers,

Jim and Ann s/v Insatiable II lying Manly Qld Oz
