Greetings from Tennessee

Hi all,
We sailed on my dads boat the "Kinky II on Lake Michigan for years. Jim Murphy of the Racine Yacht club...what a great sailor he was. He passed in 2009, and we are just now having to relearn/learn all kinds of mechanical, sailing, terms, the list is long! We need to know a lot about compatibility of old gauges with new technology. We are on a Tartan 3000. Any information about Standard Horizon WS45 and how to fx the mechanics on the masthead or what would be compatible. It is broken and need information. On a tight budget, and all.
So happy to be back on a boat here in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Welcome TO CF! I know nothing about your question except that it's an interesting one. I suggest you repost it under the Electronics and/or Navigation section (I can't remember the exact name, this tablet won't let me go looking). Quite often you'll get more response from the ones that
The really know their stuff. Again welcome.
