Greetings to All

Good day to everyone. I am so happy to have found this forum. I am a 49 year old from Missouri who has been out of sailing for a few years. I started in 1977 when my father sold his 21' Mark Twain power boat and purchased a 24' Kenner Kittiwake. We watched as she was built from the ground up and spent the winter fitting her. After 6 wonderful years, we moved up to a 33' Pearson. Many wonderful years later along with many classes and courses later, my father passed away in an unfortunate motorcycle accident. I lost all interest for a few years but, finally came to terms and have just recently purchased a 25' Catalina. Some of my best memories have been created with my father on the water under sail. I am grateful to have the opportunity to create new memories with my family.

I wish fair winds to all and safe harbor to all facing Irene in coming days.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
It's good your dad gave you those experiences so that you can see the value of passing it down to your kids.
Congratulations on the Catalina 25. That's a good choice.
kind regards,
