Hei! A norwegian guy who loves sailing

Hi! Hei! Hello!
My name us Stig, im 29y old, and live in Norway.
After dreaming about sailing for a couple og years, i finally got startet with an introduction course last fall. After some coastal sailing this spring, i got to be crew on a 35h offshore trip, and loved it!

Now im looking into getting my own boat, for me and my family of soon-to-be 5 big and small ones

Iw it was up to me alone, we would sell our house, move to a boat, do homeschool and travel the world (if we got the exonomy to do it..)

Welcome to the forum Stig. It can be addictive. Good thing you have someone who knows how to put the brakes on you selling the house...

Thank you! And yep, your right. I want a sailboat though. I believe that letting the children grow up, and getting part of boatlife, will give them so much experience and meaning.

I want to start a post of choosing a boat. Wich part of the forum do i post in. The monohull section?

Yes...that would be a good start.

Welcome.

I would suggest updating your profile with your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. If you need help setting up your profile then click on this link: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ml#post3308797

I would happily help more if the link above is not enough.

I did some day sailing abit west of Kristiansand a number of years ago. I TOTALLY LOVED IT. Cruising around all those little islands with the cabins. Long days, mild temps, ahhhh…
