Hello

Hello

I'm new to the forum and also to the more serious sailing. Hailing from the interior Finland I've sailed mostly on lakes, first as a child on Saimaa and now for 2-3 summers on Päijänne.

My dad has built a Wharram Tiki 31 and when I was younger I helped him in the process (sanding a ton of epoxy). It took years (decades, actually) during which we didn't really sail. The boat is ready now and I'm learning to sail again. Most of the time theoretically, though, since the season here is very short.

Yours,
Panu

Welcome to the forum, PanuV. You may be the farthest north of the forum members.

It took me twelve years to build my boat. At least you and I can both say that we know every inch of our rides.
