Hello all

Hi,

A hopefully new “proper” boat owner here.
I’ve agreed a price and paid the deposit
Survey next.
I know this site in a mine of knowledge and information which I’ll definitely be tapping into.

Here’s to cocktails on the aft deck by summer!

Re: Hello all

Welcome.

I would suggest updating your profile with your general location and your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. If you need help setting up your profile then click on this link: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ml#post3308797

I would happily help more if the link above is not enough.

Thank you!

It’s a Vripack-Kotter 1150 AK that I’ll be living aboard. She needs some tidying so I expect I’ll be staying on the birth for a year or so. I want to spend that time gaining my day and costal skipper qualifications.
After that the continent’s waters are my oyster. (If only for 90 days at a time)

Thank you for the welcome advice. I’ll set it all up once I have completed and I own the boat. I don’t want to tempt fate.
