Hello All !

My name is Christopher, im a new boater as of last friday. i was given a 1969 brazilian mahogony new zealand made monohull boat... i cant find any imformation on it and im really curious to learn more? i found a tag that said "hartley' but i dont know if that has anything to do with it. i got her towed back out of a lost bay where it sat for quite awhile. i am very exitcited to start working on it. i need help with the engine and if anyone knows any info on this boat please feel free to unload everything my names chris. nice to meet you all im from bc canada

Welcome onboard,

I could very well be a hartley! Whats its length 24-28 feet? Could you also post some beam photos.

hey guys thanks for the warm welcome, i found out today that it was atrimaran and ive even located the origional mast, on the boat it says the seaforths named after the australian town it was made it not new zealand.... wow gotta research hard to find anything lol also found the second owner of it he said it raced in the baltic sea and was built for extremely ruff weather

it is a 35 foot boat, origionaly 36 x 20 when comissioned as a trimaran

found out it was built by hand by one man, a german tupperware pattender in the 60's

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Are you going to change it back to a trimaran? The main hull might be a bit light in ballast if there has been no keel added.
