Hello All, New to Sailing from Los Angeles

Hi everyone,

My name is Mo, I'm 25 and a marine biologist graduate from UC Davis. I most recently was working in the Bering Sea and have completely fallen in love with the open ocean. I've started taking lessons, but they're expensive and I want and am able to be out on the water much more often. I can crew almost anytime in LA due to my current flexible work schedule. I will be posting this again in the crew section. I'm safe and responsible, kind and courteous, and a blast to be around! Hope to hear from you. If anyone has any information about the sailing community in Los Angeles, I'd love to be apart of it, please let me know!\

thanks everyone!

Welcome Mo,

Hope you are able to link up with many of the cruisers and sailor located in the Los Angeles area. What marina's are you near? I sail out of Marina Del Rey. Many of the locals can be found hanging out for happy hour at The Waterfront Restaurant on Admiralty Way. There are 6 yacht clubs here also.
