Hello Everyone

I am in the process of purchasing a Nova Heritage East and will be motoring to Florida then on through the Carribian islands to Venezuela. I am looking for a person or couple that may be interested in joining me and my wife that can pay for all there expenses and half the boat expenses not to include maintenance . I am 47 and my wife is 36 . From Texas to Florida My wife will not be aboard but she will join in Florida or at worse in Dominican Republic. We are very easy going people that love adventure we don't smoke and are light drinkers. I have almost 10 years power boat experience on a 26 foot Bayliner. And almost one year experience solo sailing. I will be looking into taking my 6 pack course in Florida before heading out. We are looking for like minded person or couple. We are in no rush and want to enjoy the trip but we don't want to spend weeks in any one spot weather permitting. If you have a serious interest please contact me. The plan as of yet will be to head out of Texas to Miami end of Oct. beginning of Nov. will be in Miami for aprox a month to get license and provisions.

Re: Hello Everyone

Well thanks for the warm welcome we have posted several different places and been having a pretty good response. I have better defined what we are planning. Basically the boat has two cabins. We aren't out to make any money off other people. I have looked for years to be able to travel and couldn't afford a boat so now we have been able to get my own soI Am offering the front cabin up to people who can pay there own expenses the cabin can sleep up to five people so the cabin is split into five shares for the fuel if someone wants the cabin to them selves they play all five shares if they don't mind sharing it they divide the shares 10 % per person we make up the difference for empty bunks. The food and disposable items used aboard we figured out at 15.00 dollars a day per person. I think that's more than fare a large pizza is 18.00 so three squares and disposable items like toilet paper , soap, napkins, cleaning materials. I think is more than fare. Anyway we will be cruising from Texas to Florida and then down to Trinidad and Tabego so if someone wants to join for part or all of the trip by them self or with a partner or a Group they just need to let me know.

I would seriously reconsider Venezuela these days...not a welcoming place anymore.
