Hello Everyone

New to the Forum, Deployed here in Iraq and will be on the way home soon and hope to retire and start Cruising in less then a year.
Have been a live aboard for six years with a little offshore time,,,til our good US of A needed me back in this nasty sandbox. The Wife only 2 years to the sailing, but is the best first mate I could have ever found.
I have leave time coming soon in a few months and plan to run the east coast of Florida as far as I can go poss Abaco.
Have to see how much time they let me off till I have to return to the "SAND BOX"
No matter what I will be on the water as much as I can.
Hope all is well in the good ol USA and I will be home soon.
Anyone thinking of the same run in say March give or take let me know.
Thanks
Rob

Rob,

Welcome to the forum. Lots of good cruising info here. Hope your leave time can be spent mostly on the water with perhaps a different type of sand thrown in - beach sand!

Welcome aboard, Rob! It's great that you will be getting leave soon. Living aboard a cat? What a dream.

Tell us more about your boat and experience living on board!
