Hello fellow sailors

Hello folks! I just found this site and am happy to be aboard. I currently am land locked on a lake in Alabama. But Cruising grounds are calling my name!
Thank for adding me to your group of cruisers.

Alabama

Welcome to the board. Im also in Alabama, down on Mobile Bay. I started sailing a Pearson26 in Logan Martin Lake. I got hooked and moved to the coast as soon as I sold my house in Birmingham I bought my own Pearson26.
This is a great site with lots of helpful cruisers. Ask any question and you will surely get it answered here.

Larry, My boat is here at Logan Martin, and I own a 1966 Pearson Ariel 26ft. I just left Gulf Shores two years ago to move back up here. My Ariel was at Sailboat Bay in Gulf Shores. ohhhh how I do miss the great sailing on Mobile Bay. I think that is one of the best kept secrets in the Sailing world.
What boat do you have now?
