Hello, from a new Canadian member

Well it's getting cool up here and our boat is on the hard for the winter - hopefully for the last time. My husband and I (and the dog) are becoming full time liveaboards next spring and hope to cruise south each winter along the east coast to the Bahamas and then back to enjoy Great Lakes boating in the summer. Hoping to learn lots from the Forums!

Re: Hello, from a new Canadian member

Welcome. I moved to BC in 2016 and sailed up from SF to do so. Happy planning.

Re: Hello, from a new Canadian member

Welcome aboard from the (usually) wet coast in BC. Our boat is in the water but effectively if not completely winterized ... just waiting for the usual onset of winter gales and sideways rain. Best of luck with your plans.

Re: Hello, from a new Canadian member

Thanks Everyone for the warm welcome and the helpful information - I am going to spend this winter trying to ignore the snow and dive deep into researching our routes and things to do along the way... as well as all the US/CDN/Bahamas rules and regulations:
