Hello from a new member

Just wanted to introduce myself. Out here in California, having sailed the Channel Islands extensively and Mexico way back when. Onboard a glass 28 foot Bristol Channel Cutter after having been a woodie x 30 years! Nice to join the Forum. 😄

Re: Hello from a new member

Welcome aboard CF, KelseaBCC. Impressive sailing history.

Some old and dear friends sailed their BCC out to Australia from the PNW, and sailed around in the South Pacific with it; later, they shipped it back to Mexico, and sailed it home to Seattle.

Our present boat is modern composite construction, western red cedar, coved, and epoxy soaked and glassed inside and out. Timber boats are wonderful.

Welcome from JAX Florida... Lovely boat and great sail plan-- that boat was definitely meant to go places!

Cheers,
