We are from Ohio on Lake Erie. I am currently deployed in Afghanistan as a civilian medic in support of the US Marines here. Lynn is a RN back home in Ohio.
We have a 47 ft Egg Harbor Flush Deck Motor Yacht, MV Lifesavers currently undergoing a complete renovation from the keel up, The hull was just completed with a total rebuild of transom framing and planking. The decks and topsides are next.
We are hoping to cruise from Lake Erie to the Gulf Coast and become full time liveaboards. Corpus Christi and League City, Texas, so far look promising.
We both hope to get lots of information from this site in prepreations for our corversion from land lubbers to liveaboards. Look forward to reading the forums and gathering usefull information.
I hope to return back to the USA next summer/fall and complete the final touches on Lifesavers for our new life onboard.
