Hello from Costa Rica!

I've been thinking about hooking up with a Christian sailing community and here I am! Hopefully, the Lord has something in store for me regarding sailing soon. (Can't stand my 9 to 5 anymore! lol). God bless, ev1!

Re: Hello from Costa Rica!

I am new to the forum as well. I have lived in CR for over 20 years, happily married, and we raised our daughter here. I was able to have a great year in 2011 and bought a 24 ft. C&C trailerable sailboat, and brought it to Costa...Sailed 1200 miles solo last year along the Pacific coast of this awesome country. Caliente is rigged up for coastal cruising, and the Pacific coast is a great place to sail. Many fine bays and places to just bob around!! I love CR! Anyone who wants to hook up and is not a flake is welcome. I try to get my boat in the water each December, and sail til the weather starts to change around mid May. Since you have to be on board the whole time due to thieves, I would love a like minded salty partner on the boat. Anyone interested?

Hi, CR. It's nice welcoming such a merry soul to the forum, we are mostly cynical old men. Hang in there.
