Hello from Damocles

Hi everyone. New to this forum, and looking forward to reading around a bit, especially on the wooden construction side.

My boating is in SW UK and France in a smallish sloop of impeccable blue water behaviour, but in need of a little refurbishment and polishing - a theme which is carried over at home, where I have a small Swedish plywood boat under restoration.

I deal with disasters - preventing them and responding to them. But hopefully they won't happen at sea.
