Hello from Luperon in the Dominican Republic

My name is Jeannette and I just joined the forum. I am currently selling my beloved 37' Gulfstar after having lived aboard for 10yrs and have moved ashore here in Luperon. The boat became a little more upkeep then I could handle alone.If any one is headed in this direction I would be happy to meet you and give you any information on the Dominican Republic. I can be hailed on the VHF as Sea Lion or Sugar Shack. Looking forward to meeting some cruisers headed this way

i'm in Ocean World on a 50' sailboat headed to Tortola. My crew is flying out today and I'm alone. I need 1 crew to help me finish the trip. I'll pay $150 per day plus flight from BVI to DR. It's windy and rough out there. I have all the gear, food, fuel, etc. I'm trying to find someone here in the DR that can leave....soon. Monday?
