Ah, a wooden boat: That takes a special kind of love.
Maybe not so bad in cold waters, but I made the mistake of buying a wooden boat in the Caribbean, never again.
Lots of work keeping the varnish in good shape, strong UV rays will burn it off in a few months, rain will rot the wood and the teredo worms will eat the boat. Constant battle and it never ends good.
My hat off to wooden boat owner's everywhere.
