Hello from Oregon

What the heck, have been perusing for awhile, may as well ring in. Lifelong sailor, a string of past (sail)boats from 8' to current 43'. Mainly Pacific Northwest cruising but several trips down the Oregon/Calif coast and a solo from BC to Mexico. Currently slogging it out working with retirement and full time cruising on the elusive horizon. I enjoy this board and the personalities within much more than the other sailing forums where the 'experts' can't actually have time to sail with the thousands of verbose posts they have.
Cheers, John in Portland.

Excellent! Welcome. Tomorrow, or the next day, I solo from Borneo to Palau.
