Boat: Looking for 32-38 family cruiser in PNW
Posts: 2
Hello from PDX!

Greetings. New and fresh sailor here, looking to gain and share info - got one class behind me on 22's and one on dinghies, and setting up for a refresher on the 22's in preparation to getting a boat of my own.

Going to most likely sail (and well, motor) here on the Columbia river, and one day when I can take 3 weeks off or so attempt to get up north to eventually cruise the San Juans for a bit. But that's far off - for now I have to find the right boat* for the right price and learn to sail it and maintain it right here where it's in easy reach.

*probably a pilothouse sloop in the 32-38ft range for the 4 of us

Re: Hello from PDX!

Welcome.

I would suggest updating your profile with your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. If you need help setting up your profile then click on this link: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ml#post3308797

I would happily help more if the link above is not enough.

A house is but a boat so poorly built and so firmly run aground no one would think to try and refloat it.
