Hello From Sarasota!

Hello

I am new to this forum and wanted to say hello.

I am somewhat new to the larger boat world although we had them when I was younger.

We live in Thomasville, GA and on our boat in Sarasota, Fl (at Marina Jack's)

We have a 46' Marine Trader Kelly Trawler 1989 and it is a work in progress

My wife just retired and bought a sail makers sewing machine and just completed her first project the back cushions!!!

All new AC units just completed

now the ugly comes next week

New heads and system

Thanks for allowing me on board!!!

Have stopped at Marina Jack's several times. I'm sure you'll enjoy it there and you have great access to go on enjoyable short or long trips in either direction.

Howdy!

Those Marine Traders can be so nice! I have seen a few that made me wish I had one! Would make an excellent live aboard. Had my eye on a 40ft Sundeck that really appealed to me. If only it had sails.

Sarasota is a nice place too, silky sand beaches.

Welcome....I used to
Live in Sarasota, though never owned a boat while living there. Marina jacks is a nice place. I love the restaurant. If you like Italian, try carragulos. It's just a block or two from the marina.

Re: Hello From Sarasota!

I don't remember anything being there except fancy sidewalks and a parking lot...and of course the animal water fountains the kids could play in.
