Hello from Singapore

Hi! I have just joined to pick up the goss as I am about to buy a new sail boat for cruising. Two big questions i am trying to resolve is where to get experience locally in singapore before I embarass myself on my new boat (deciding between the new Beneteau Sense and Hanse 445) Any thoughts on where to get sailing experience in singapore would be appreciated and if any one has dealt with Simpson Marine Singapore or Jebsens HK again would be most helpful. Finally do you sailors out there ever get together for a beer and a chat as there is no Bugle pub in singapore. Cheers!

Hey Prod,
Keep me posted on your updates. I am a Canuck married to an amazing Sg woman and we are planning on getting back to Sg in the near future.
I am also looking ahead at a boat, and perhaps I can pick your thoughts on your decision.
