Hello from the Deep South

Hello from the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast! Since I lost my boat in Katrina, I have purchased a Ocean Voyager MK II 26' sailboat and have been restoring her. I would like to chat with other OV owners about their boats, history of boat, trailers for boat, etc. I am new to this forum and hope to make contact with other OV boat owners. My boat is very nice and draws comments from everyone in the marina! I was lucky to find the boat in Mobile, Al!

Aloha Mark,
I haven't ever been aboard an Ocean Voyager boat but look forward to hearing of your restoration adventures.
Welcome aboard!
kind regards

I see from my search that she is a double ended stern hung rudder. I've been aboard the Westsail 32s and sailed the Ingrid 38 so am familiar with the hull design and sailing characteristics.

Mark,

I feel your pain losing your boat to Katrina as I lost my last boat, a 27' Watkins, to Ivan back in 2005. I'm glad to see you back in action. I'm just a couple of hours east of you and work brings me to Mobile quite often. Hope to see you sailing around the area soon!
