Hello from the Sunny Beaches of Canada

Ahoy there,
I'm a 21 year old from British Columbia. I'v been poking around these forums looking for incite and people doing ocean crossing. I'v done a lot of club racing, and this summer sailed all around the gulf islands (Which was beautiful and I don't know why I never did it before) But now I'm looking to start a big adventure on a different continent, and 14 hours on a air plane doesn't sound nearly as fun as a month on a boat!
Cheers Leum

Re: Hello from the sunny beaches of Canada

Greetings and welcome to the CF, Leum.

This is a better place to come to gain insight, than it is to incite.

I don't know Gord, any time the mono versus multi debate comes up, many of the posts are more incite-ful than insightful.

Anyway, as Gord said, greetings and welcome aboard Leum!

Vic Maui is next year. Many boats will be will be looking for return crews. You may even be able to get a race position.
