Happy New Year,
and welcome to the forum.
We have a 38 foot Lightwave in Mackay, but unfortunately I am sitting in Mount Isa longing for the coast until the 14th.
Are you intending to join a ralley to go to the Med or are you doing it on your own? We have similar plans for the future but still have two dogs. Let us know if you come through Mackay and we'll catch up for a beer or a barbie.
Nils

Happy New Year Nils,
Lightwaves are fast! I notice one moored not far from us in Mooloolaba.
We fly into Mackay on the 15th on business before driving to Rockhampton the following morning.
We will be quite busy so unsure if there will be time however happy to call you for a chat, otherwise I expect we will cruise into Mackay (May/June) along the way.
We are more likely to join the Darwin to Ambon race/rally in July or if our departure is delayed for some reason, rendezvous with the international blue water rally in September.
We have sailed on Dundee with Wayne and Sonya from Mackay overnight at Keswick Island which was fun.
Looking forward to catching up soon.
Cheers - Jon

Hi Jon,
I will be in Proserpine/Airlie on the 14th and 15th but send me an email if you want and I'll send you my phone number if you have time to make contact at a later stage or when you pass through. I always like to compare boats swap good ideas.
regards
Nils

Did they let you sit on their lounge? ($60,000.00 worth of crocodile skin)

Hi Jon & Sue,
Please post any news on your plans going north. We will be at Hervey Bay mid June, but I guess you will be further north by then. Cheers, Jennie & John. Spirited 1.

Hello Jennie and John,
Replying from Puket Thailand, here for more dental work.
Yes we would expect to closer to Townsville by mid June, would have enjoyed catching up with you both. Are you sailing to H-Bay?
Or checking out other S-380's while holidaying there?
Will post our progress as possable. Hope to set sail after May 20th.
Have just received our entry for the Sail Indonisia Rally and were clawing through the things to do list in preparation - progress!
Good to hear from you both... Cheers Jon and Sue

Spirited 1

Craig will take Spirited 1 to the Sanctuary Cove Show at the end of May. We will sail to Hervey Bay arriving by June 9. Hervey will be our base for next 2 months as other Syndicate members will fly in and have time aboard.
By August sail back to Sydney in a number of legs to get the right weather. Sounds like you will be further north by then.
Did you change the props on Minx? We are interested to hear of any improvment.
We are upgrading the refrigeration on S1 - the Isotherm system was way undersized.
Have fun,
John
